The lake, the gates, the fall colors, the neighbors who wave — there's nowhere quite like it. We built this to protect what makes it special.
We are your neighbors. The Governors know us; many are our friends. This isn't us versus them — it's all of us making informed decisions together.
We first raised these questions in the community Facebook group, and you can read the full thread for yourself — the same questions, and the responses, so you can make up your own mind. Everyone there knew exactly who we were, and the conversation still turned to who was asking rather than to what the numbers show. So here, we're keeping it about the numbers — because who we are doesn't change them, and they come straight from the budget.
Smoke Rise is on track for the largest operating deficits in the history of its published budget records. Every figure here comes straight from those documents. Numbers don't have opinions. If we've gotten anything wrong, tell us and we'll fix it. Our door is open.
