Melissa "Missy" Elliott — Grammy-winning rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer — owned a residence in the Smoke Rise community of Kinnelon. A genre-defining force in hip-hop since her 1997 debut Supa Dupa Fly, she became the first female rapper inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2023.
